Biography
CaptCoach was raised in Eindhoven, Netherlands and currently lives in Utrecht, Netherlands. He has a Bachelor of Science in Sociology, and is currently studying to get a Master of science in Policy Analysis & Organizations. Having played video games for as long as he can remember, CaptCoach especially enjoyed the Pokémon series, Super Smash Bros series, JRPG's and has found himself using the most time on MMO's such as World of Warcraft and Dragon Nest. One day he was looking through streams at Twitch and stumbled upon several SMITE pro players streaming. He decides that he wants to fight for becoming a pro player himself. He was on several smaller teams as a player [1] until he finally found himself becoming the coach and manager of Agilitas in early June 2014, now known as Titan. He would keep being the coach of that team until August 2015, where he would join Avant Garde, stating he didn't enjoy his position at Titan anymore.[2]

- He changed his name to CaptCoach after a bet with the players as the team got 1st in all 7 consecutive weeks during the SPL Season 1 EU Challenger Cup.
- His former name "CaptOates" was based on Seth Cohen's toy horse on The O.C.
