2020-04-16 | SPL | Sanguine Esports Jarcorrr Panitom Sheento Netrioid Ronngyu |
4.2 Prohibited Conduct 5.2 Rules Violations, (b) Fines 6.7 Bugs. (a)(b) |
Fire Giant Exploit | $500 | N/A | Sanguine has been issued a formal warning and will be given a $500 team fine for exploiting a bug during SPL matches. Our league operations team concluded that based on the game state at the times the exploit was used, it’s likely that Sanguine would have won their sets with or without the Fire Giant plays in question. Some exploits could lead to a loss in some cases, but we don’t feel this is one of those instances — so we will not forfeit any of their wins from the first two weeks of pro league play. |

As such, Osath, lepepe, Cowstuckinatree, and Sumic are competitively banned from all our leagues until the conclusion of the Phase 1 Circuit Playoffs for SCC/SOC.
This administrative measure also means that Big Time Rush will forfeit their spot in the SCC Qualifier group stages. The teams who would have faced them in the group stages will receive a BYE instead. |

Our league operations team runs semi-regular audits within SMITE and in player chat logs to verify that all players meet the conduct standards set forth in our rules, and in doing one such audit have determined that the conduct displayed by the aforementioned players violates our league rules.
